This group is for anyone 21 - 50 or so. We Love to hang and build relationships. We are a group of busy people, but we all need a place to feel accepted and loved. We support each other through life's twist and turns. We would Love for you to join us !!!

Queens Women's Ministry

Ages 18 and up 

Life is about relationships, but relationships are stressful. Ladies at Freedom Place Church come together with a lighthearted approach to gain hope and encouragement in the midst of the storms of life. Games, crafts, and the word are all part of a wonderful experience growing in grace.  We meet the fourth Sunday night of every month at 5:30 for the meal and 6:00 for the service. 

Band of Brothers Men's Ministry

Ages 18 and up 

Real men love Jesus. There's nothing sissy about being a Christian. Life is a battlefield, it's not a game or a spectator’s sport, it's war. Freedom Place Church believes we need to equip men with the weapons they need to live a victorious life. We meet once a month to build camaraderie and to gain strength and wisdom from one another. We are men of courage.  We meet the fourth Sunday night of every month at 5:30 for the meal and 6:00 for the service.

Ages 13-19 

Realizing young people are the future of the church, Freedom Place Church is committed to providing students with many opportunities for fellowship, fun, and most importantly, spiritual growth.  We have packed calendar of activities with games, junk food,  praise and worship, practical teaching about the Bible, various outings, and camps. 

We also have a wonderful Christian Youth Band that is an Alternative/Worship Band.  We are very proud that 7ten calls Freedom Place their home church. 

Youth Pastors John & Katie Roach 

Pastors Johnathon and Katie Roach have been our Youth Pastors since 2006. Pastor Johnathon, being raised in a pastor’s home has been in ministry for most of his life. He's been in youth ministry beginning at age 16 where he accepted his first youth pastorate and took the youth group from 6 to over 60. 

He and Katie have a great music ministry together where they lead the youth in exciting songs of praise and worship. 

They have a Christian Band called 7ten that ministers not only at First Assembly in Jasper but perform concerts for other churches and benefits. He is also an accomplished song writer of many songs that they perform on their latest CD. Pastor Johnathon is also the Neches Valley youth representative of the South Texas District Assemblies of God where he ministers to over 20 churches. He also helps churches and ministries with their technological media needs. He is an Ordained Minister through Global University with the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Mo. 

Pastor Johnathon and Sis. Katie have been married since 2002 with two wonderful children Kaylee DeAnne and Garrick AnDee. Their greatest desire is to show teens the love of Christ and the awesome fulfilling life one can have through His power. 

BLAST Kids Ministry

Ages 5-12

We are Freedom Place Children's Church! We believe that teaching children Christian values is the most important activity of our lives. We invite all children to come join us as we learn more about God and the teachings of Jesus. 

During the summer, we host VBS (Vacation Bible School), Kids Camp, as well as other fun and exciting activities!  

Children’s Pastor Rachel Nuckels 

Rachel Nuckels has been actively involved in ministry for over 20 years. She has served in various areas of the church including worship team, youth ministry and children's ministry. She is married to Eric Nuckels who also serves in ministry as our Men’s Ministry Leader and bass player for our worship team as well as the youth worship and Christian band 7ten. 

They have 2 sons, Connor, and Braelyn. 

They both have a love for ministry. Rachel has traveled to South America and worked with the LACC in churches and schools. Her desire is to bring children into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them to grow in their love for God and service to others. 

BGMC equips kids to know, care, pray, give, and to reach the lost. We have a two-fold purpose: to reach the children of the world with the love of Jesus and to create a heart of compassion in kids.
